We are proud to introduce the Sound of China Guzheng Series. This model is Sound of China guzheng's professional model. All the making materials including soundboards, frames, strings and bridges are carefully selected by Sound of China professionals.
This guzheng is made of single-piece professional grade paulownia soundboards. The frame is made by Blackwood. The bridges are made of Blackwood with buffalo bone saddle. The strings are made of German steel that are of professional quality yet soft enough for beginners to learn bending. The frame is decorated with Chinese brush painting patterns.
This instrument is our professional model that sounds rich, clean and resonant. Sound of China offers one year full warranty along with this model. It comes with a 2- piece stands, one set of finger picks, and 1-7 spare strings. It is the whole package that leads you to enjoy playing. We provide set-up instruction that's easy to follow. Help on set-up and playing is also offered over the phone or internet free of charge.

Guzheng Size Reference:
Under 100 cm (<40") – Toy/Replica
Instruments under 100 cm are generally not playable. They produce very little volume, the strings sound flat, and the spacing is too narrow for most fingers. These are best considered novelty items rather than functional instruments.
100–110 cm (40–43") – Mini Guzheng
Mini guzhengs are designed for anyone needing a compact, portable instrument. Modern mini guzhengs usually feature standard string spacing, making them comfortable to play. While the bass may be less full than a standard-size guzheng, some high-quality mini models produce a surprisingly rich and pleasant tone. Their small size makes them easy to carry, ideal for travel or practice in limited spaces.
120–155 cm (47–61") – Travel Guzheng
Travel-size guzhengs are compact and convenient for portability. Sound quality varies widely between makers: a high-quality model can approach the tone of a standard-size guzheng, while a lower-quality one may resemble a toy guzheng.
160 cm+ (>61") – Standard Guzheng
This is the full standard size for guzhengs. Strings have the proper length for stable pitch, and spacing is suitable for adult fingers. Sound quality varies depending on the model and maker, but all standard guzhengs provide the traditional rich and balanced tone expected from the instrument.
