Been running this clock for weeks and it didn't stop but it runs fast. We don't want to screw around setting the speed control. We are not professional with antique clocks and we don't want to do anything to damage it. It runs and chimes by the hour and half hour. It runs even without the pendulum if moved. Sold as is....
