General condition: 

  • Made in Japan in the 1980s, unused old stock, hand made by skilled craftsman.
  • Handle: Stainless steel.
  • Blade: high carbon steel, easy to sharpen but prone to rust. 
  • As the knives are hand made, when you look into details, they are not very refined.
  • You will find oxidation spots on the blade, due to long term storage. The boxes show color fade as well.
  • The blade is sharp, and the hinge is very tight, you have to be careful when open or close it.
