Up for your consideration this Vintage Bushnell Ensign Wide Angle Insta-Focus Binoculars 7 X 35 500 Ft. at 1000 Yds. with Case in near excellent condition, made in Japan. Binoculars like new, case has a spot at the front, possibly from unprofessionally removed sticker. It features fully coated optics and 7 X 35 lenses. Bushnell company was founded in 1948 by David P. Bushnell, when he returned to United States from his honeymoon in Japan with two crates of binoculars and sold them by mail order. Bushnell made precision binoculars affordable to middle-class Americans for the first time through a strategy of importing from manufacturers in Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan, who provided optics to his patented specifications. Bushnell eventually expanded his business to include rifle and spotting scopes. In 1971, Bushnell sold his company to Bausch & Lomb. The firm renamed itself Bushnell Performance Optics. Three years later, Bushnell retired as vice-president of Bausch & Lomb.
I found no significant condition issues with the item, but signs of previous use and ownership should be expected consistent with its vintage timeline and should be taken into consideration with age and ownership.
Please note: I will accept any reasonable offer.
