Incredibly rare original Civil War Dated (1861) Bank of Washington $50 without overprint, mostly issued.

SAVE $1500 if you don't mind the incredibly rare original Civil War mouse nibbles. Yep, that's what they are - you can even see the outlines of their tiny teeth. But they had very good taste in currency. They left the beautiful vignettes wholly undisturbed.

We were around when a hoardlet of notes from this bank hit the floor of the Memphis International Paper Money show and this is the LAST one that we have.  If memory serves, this is also the only mostly issued $50 without overprint that we found, and it was already worth our selling price now...then.
