2005 Jackson Pro Series Randy Rhoads RR3 (Black) w/ Warwick Rockbag

The Overview Up for sale is a 2005 Jackson RR3 Rhoads. Built for speed and heavy riffs, this Japanese-made (standard for this era of Pro Series) Jackson features the aggressive, iconic offset-V shape. This specific guitar is a true "player’s grade" instrument. It has definitely seen some stages and action. While it has its share of cosmetic battle scars, it has the solid bones and fast neck that these mid-2000s Jacksons are famous for.

Key Specs

  • Body Shape: Iconic Randy Rhoads asymmetric V
  • Neck: Bolt-on Maple with a fast, slim profile

  • Pickups: Classic dual humbucker configuration (Duncan designed)

Condition Report (Please read carefully and review all photos) This guitar plays great but features significant cosmetic wear, specifically the "corner dings" that are a rite of passage for used extreme-shape guitars:

  • Headstock Tip: The sharp tip of the headstock has been chipped off, exposing the bare maple wood beneath.
  • Body Horns: Both the long and short tips of the "V" body have noticeable chips in the black paint, exposing the wood underneath.
  • Surface Dings & Scratches: There are a few small, distinct puncture-style dings in the clear coat/paint on the top of the body, along with typical surface scratches and swirling throughout the black finish.
  • Hardware & Electronics Aging: The pole pieces on both the neck and bridge Duncan Designed pickups show noticeable rust/oxidation. The chrome hardware shows typical light wear for its age, but functions exactly as it should.
  • Backplate Note: The rear plastic backplate over the tremolo cavity is currently removed, but the plate and all original screws are included in the case.
