This is one Rare Beanie Baby!
What makes this Kiwi the Toucan unique?
A beanie baby's hang and tush tags are some of the most important
factors as to how rare a specific version of a beanie baby is.
This beanie baby has the 2nd gen tush tag, which is distinguishable
by it having the red Ty heart but not having the beanie baby's name
on the tag. The hang tag is missing, but this Kiwi would have a 3rd
gen hang tag if it had not been remove at some point in it's life.
We all know that demand for beanie babies skyrocketed in the late 90s.
Ty increased production significantly when production the 4th gen hang
tag/3rd gen tush tag came out. This means that the earlier beanie babies,
like this one, are much more rare.
