Balalayka Folk Instrument USSR Soviet Balalaika Hand Painted Winter Scene - Christmas scene - horse and sleigh. 

6 strings - has 4 strings, one needs restringing. 

Has the information on the inside, hard to get pictures. These were made in the early 1980’s in the former USSR. The paint is chipping near handle but still in great shape. 

Measures roughly  28” long x 17” wide and 4.5” deep.
