HDR10+ support
The media player supports not only HDR technology, but also Samsung's latest and most advanced HDR10+ technology. In conventional HDR technology, the brightness range is determined at the beginning of the movie and does not change throughout the movie, so completely dark and completely bright scenes may lack detail. In the latest HDR10+ technology, the brightness range can change from frame to frame, so maximum picture detail is provided even in scenes that contain only dark or bright elements.
VP9 Profile 2 and YouTube 4K HDR support
The media player supports not only the regular VP9 video codec (which does not support HDR), but also the latest VP9 profile 2, which is used by YouTube for 4K HDR content. Most other media players do not have this support.
77% more powerful 6-core CPU
The RTD1619 uses a 6-core ARM A55 processor, which is 77% more powerful than the 4-core ARM A53 used in the previous Pro 4K Plus model.
50% more powerful graphics processor
The RTD1619 uses the new Mali-G51 GPU, which is 50% more powerful than the Mali-T820 used in the previous Pro 4K Plus model.
4 GB of RAM
The media player features 4GB of RAM, double the amount of RAM in the previous Pro 4K Plus model, ensuring the best performance in heavy applications.
32 GB flash memory
The media player features 32GB of flash memory, double the capacity of the previous Pro 4K Plus model, giving you more space for heavy applications and internal storage.
BD4K, BD3D, Blu-ray menu
The media player supports playback of full Blu-ray images in maximum quality in any formats (BDMV, BD ISO, BD4K, BD3D, BD-Java, free branching, obfuscated playlists). When playing Blu-Ray images, both a simplified BDLite menu and a full Blu-Ray menu with the ability to select scenes and additional materials are available.
100% smooth playback of Blu-ray images
Unlike other media players, Dune HD media players contain the most complete Blu-ray playback engine, which includes 100% full support for seamless branching of video fragments. This ensures smooth playback of the entire movie without any micro-stutters compared to all competitors.
Flicker-free auto-switching of frame rate and resolution
Dune HD media players feature a unique, improved mechanism for automatic frame rate and resolution switching without flickering, ensuring no video mode switching (and no HDMI reinitialization) after a file starts playing. Other Realtek-based media players switch video mode after a file starts playing, which is accompanied by unpleasant flickering.
Dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi and 1Gbit Ethernet
The media player is equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz + 5.0 GHz), which allows you to play high-bitrate content, including "over the air". The 1Gbit Ethernet port allows you to get maximum performance with a wired connection.
Built-in Bluetooth 5.0
The built-in Bluetooth interface allows you to easily connect various remote controls, wireless keyboards, mice, joysticks, audio speakers, headphones, headsets and other devices. The new Bluetooth version 5.0 is supported (compared to version 4.x, which was supported in the previous Pro 4K Plus model).

Professional control of video output parameters
Advanced settings allow professional users and installers to fine-tune video output settings for a specific setup. In particular, you can configure which color subsampling modes to use for individual HDMI video modes. Most competing media player models do not have these settings.
Dune HD Linux-based operating system
