The Air Jordan Series Mid Maison Chateau Rouge Sail is inspired by Nike Air Jordan 2. This is especially clear on the sneaker's upper, where paneling delivers the same brogue-inspired stitching and pattern throughout.

​The insole and the patch attached to the lateral both have the word "United Youth International" inscribed across them. This branding is ripped straight from the Air Jordan 2 design. The Air Jordan Mid Maison also features more subtle nods all around, like the striped accents and orange contrast stitching, while the midsole features a distinct, subtly altered design.
