I’ve only owned this piece a few days and I have never placed a candle in it. So when it gets hot it could crack? So proceed with caution. It’s beautiful on its own as an art object. In my personal opinion, this is an art piece. Highly reflective and picks up any color in your room. You may try to use this as a centerpiece bowl with flowers. Just an idea.
