Vintage Composition Kewpie Doll One Owner Handmade Outfit Significant Crazing
This is my mother’s doll, and it was given to her new in the early 1940’s, and she’s ready to part with it now.
As she recalled, the outfit (except the ribbon) was made by her aunt. The old wool outfit has some moth damage and discoloration.
There is significant crazing and some surface loss on this well-loved doll, but the face is in pretty good shape. Limbs are still attached well and seem to be original connections. (She doesn’t remember them ever having to be replaced.)
Please email me with any questions and I’ll do my best to respond quickly.
