This is an original antique (late 19th century) mission style rough hand sawn oak wall mount plate rack (or whatnot shelf) featuring groove all the way along the bottom shelf for standing plates upright, triangular sides, scalloped top and bottom panel, and rail slat across the front to catch the plates from falling.

Condition is excellent. The entire piece is sturdy, solid, and fully functional. There are a few marks on the wood from use, but no cracks, repairs, or other major damage. Two sturdy hangers were added on the back for wall mounting, but they are positioned to hang the shelf upside down (the previous owner was not using it for plates). It can be used as a two-tier shelf in that orientation, but the hangers will need to be moved to use it for plates.

The shelf measures 30" L x 6" D x 20" H and there is 10 1/8" of space between shelves. It will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping. Please provide a street address for shipping as this will not be delivered to a PO box. Advertised shipping cost covers shipping within the lower 48 states only. Please ask for a shipping quote to AK, HI, or Puerto Rico.
