Scarce Italian edition of James Cook's map of New Zealand, published in Venice in 1785.
The map appeared in an 7 volume work entitled "Storia dei Viaggi di Cook" and provides a faithful copy of the original English edition of the map.
This is one of the earliest obtainable maps of New Zealand.
