This vintage Lladró figurine depicts a doctor, with stethoscope and smock in a professional setting on a porcelain base. Measuring approximately 13.75 inches high, 5 inches wide and 5 inches deep, (it is called "REDUCED", since the size has been reduced down by Lladro from the original 15.75 inches) it comes with a substitute NAO box. The figurine is part of the "Professionals" collection and was issued in 1969, retired in 1999, and can sell for as high as $350 on the secondary market.
This figurine is part of our mother's estate. It has been checked over for chips, cracks and crazing, and none were found. I found an area on the base, under the right shoe, as well as on the back of the base, where there are small indented areas. This figurine came from Lladro like this, as the pieces were glazed over the areas, it is not readily visible when looking at the figurine. In addition there is a small dimple on the front bottom edge of the base, also glazed over. Review the pictures for condition, we are closing out our mother's estate, so we are not accepting returns.
