Two (2 each) Triangular Shaped Made in U.S.A. pressure sensitive adhesive hole patches made from proprietary automotive grade urethane. They are mirror images which are ideal for left and right side hole concealment. Installation horizontally or vertically oriented as desired on flat body holes. Can be used to cover holes from police vehicle push bar brackets or roof rack delete. Check the target footprint to be sure of coverage without going over sharp body breaks or panel edges.
Only Available in Gloss White.
Featuring a strong industrial 3M pressure sensitive adhesive backing for peel and stick installation (50 degrees minimum installation temp). Can be painted as desired using standard automotive refinishing products and procedures approved for plastic or other flexible body panels.
Specifically designed to cover any relatively flat hole
where there is a minimum of 3/8 inch margin of overlap. It is not
designed for significant radius surfaces, gentle curves only. It is ideal
for light bar wiring harness holes or luggage rack holes in police vehicle
roofs, antenna holes or holes in the firewall. Unlike the rubber or cheap
plastic caplug hole plugs, this patch has a very stealthy low profile
appearance.
Patch Dimensions:
Measurements: 4.375" High x 2.625" Wide (at widest
point) x .060” thick gently tapered at outer edge
Colors:
Paintable Gloss White, or Gloss Black, blends
nicely into body panels with a low profile look without the unsightly dull
black bump appearance like the rubber plugs. These patches are compatible
with all standard automotive finishes including basecoat / clearcoat.
Prep and paint as you would any automotive spot refinish repair.
Installation:
Clean all wax, spent adhesive residue, RTV silicone and any other foreign substances around the hole to be filled. For particularly stubborn spots, use a detergent solution then rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. Use the included alcohol wipe the area then carefully peel the backing off the patch and center over your hole pressing down around the outer edges only. Avoid “touch” type car washes for 24 hours and surface must be at 50 degrees F minimum. It may also be helpful to apply painters tape in an "X" across the patch for 12-24 hours then remove.
