These are not DVD's, they will not work in a normal DVD player. You will need an HD-DVD player that is not the same as a high definition DVD player. HD-DVD's went up against Blu-Ray and lost. The player I use to test the open one's is a Toshiba HD-D3. This is a good player for these.
