Procedure: 

• Fill with fertilizer, then balance on knife blade.
• Soil Sampler’s Fertilizer Density Scale enables the setting of spreaders and sprayers for accurate field applications

 
Fill the Sample Cup level full and then balance the scale on a knife blade to show weight per cubic foot.  Measures density from 
0-120 lbs. per cubic foot and in kilograms (range: 0 to 2.0 kilograms per cubic DM.) Works great on both liquid and dry fertilizer products.
