Engineers Precision Spirit Level Railway Engineering Origin Thorn EMI Very Rare

An extremely rare EMI engineers precision spirit horizontal spirit level. Recently acquired from the home or a railway engineer who worked for Sulzer Bros. London Ltd who were world renowned as manufacturers of locomotive and marine diesel engines.


We believe this to be a prototype and one of a kind and found along with an original Sulzer advertising display board (not included).

Sulzer Bros (London) Ltd was formed on the 20th July 1932 a special resolution signed on the 4th December 1986 changed the name of the company to Sulzer (UK) Ltd. In 2001 all the assets of Sulzer (UK) Ltd were transferred to Sulzer (UK) Holdings Ltd and Sulzer (UK) Ltd was declared a dormant company and as of 2017 continued to be so.
