Classic CROSS*WORDS Excellent Condition, Cardboard Tiles, Colorful Board.

Here is an interesting vintage board game called CROSS*WORDS from the early mid century era that appears to be a complete knock-off of Scrabble!

But, it's a cheap knock-off at that: the tiles are cardboard and the playing board is a just bunch of colored squares, with no indicators of point values imprinted. The tile racks are made of wood and look identical to the Scrabble version. NOTE: One tile rack is missing. A poor man's Scrabble?

Indeed, there is not even the manufacturer's name to be found which would make it difficult to track down the sure to follow infringement lawsuit!

One interesting tidbit is that the instructions are printed on parchment paper! Why?

Excellent condition, nonetheless, and ready for GAME NIGHT!
