A very fine handwoven antique paisley panel from 19th century Persia.  It has a striped motif with red figures combined with narrower stripes of blue and red figures on a cream ground. This narrower stripe is also used to border the whole piece.  

The condition is excellent.  We see a few small holes as is usual with these pieces. We also note a small section of the border which is damaged, as pictured.
