OVERVIEW

The Carlisle Sport Trail LH is a highway terrain, all season tire made for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.

Superb controllability is provided with this model, thanks to the tread’s road contact. The closer and better road contact upgrades steering responsiveness and towing stability. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the towing vehicle's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Furthermore, the shoulder tread blocks provide additional biting edges to grip the road. This allows the tire to enhance its cornering and maneuvering, ensuring safer handling, as the tire guarantees a secure performance.

Great load and driving durability are ensured with the tire’s reinforced internal structure. This model features a reinforced internal structure. As the tire does not deform, it is able to securely carry heavy loads. This structure maintains the optimal tire shape under larger load pressure, optimizing not only its load durability but also the tire’s handling power. This load-carrying capacity makes this model an excellent choice for heavy-duty applications.

Extended service life is guaranteed with this model. The tire manages to optimize its treadwear rate and manner. Stronger compound elements and the tread’s ideal pattern work together to achieve this. They actively resist irregular and premature wear across the tread area. The model manages to evenly circulate driving pressure, preventing pressure accumulation. It also helps to decrease the treadwear rate, offering slower wear.

The Carlisle Sport Trail LH is able to handle versatile weather conditions. The tire provides great traction in dry, wet, and light winter conditions. This is achieved with the tread design and the durable compound. They work together to generate traction with extra biting edges and to keep the tire pliable throughout the year. Hydroplaning is resisted with the tread design that disperses water and slush from the footprint, further enhancing its performance on wet roads.

This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Due to the acquisition by Carlstar Tires, Carlisle tires are now manufactured under the Carlstar banner. For this reason, some Carlisle tires might come with the Carlstar brand name stamped on their sidewalls.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
