Vintage SNCF French Railways PETARD a Griffe Track Warning Empty Disc Tin

This is a Vintage SNCF French Railways PETARD a Griffe Track Warning Empty Disc Tin that contained orange/red “ Bangers “ “ Fire Crackers” that were put on the rail track and gave a loud warning bang when a trail went over them.

The tin is in a used dented condition, see Photos.

The tin is oval in shape and measures approx. 3 1/4” x 9” / 8.5 cm x 23 cm.
