This is for one (1) replacement remote for your Subaru dealer installed RKE (remote keyless entry) system.
You will receive one of the remotes pictured.
This
is ONE (1) Dealer Installed Original Equipment O.E.M. keyless remote
control transmitter. This remote was used by many new car dealerships as
a dealer installed remote. This means that if a car was not built with
factory keyless entry but when the car was ordered as new the customer
wanted keyless entry or alarm the dealer ship would install the system
that uses this remote. This remote could come with many logos (i.e.
ford, Chrysler, Mitsubishi, Subaru, etc...) but they are all made by
Code Alarm. The remote comes with programming instructions to make the
system accept the remote.
Compatibility 1: FCC ID/Part number MUST match with original. Compatibility 2: Original MUST look identical with same buttons.

This means that if a car was not built with factory keyless entry but when the car was ordered as new the customer wanted keyless entry or alarm the dealer ship would install the system that uses this remote.
