Up for auction we have a wonderful snowman figural bell. The snowman has a big smile, two eyes, a hat, a pointed nose and three large buttons. Could it be Frosty? These bells were generally used on the dinner table to summon the maid or by a bedside to summon a nurse. It stands 7 1/4” high with a 2 5/8” diameter at the base. The bell sounds great with a loud tone. I am guessing it is silver plate since it does NOT attract a magnet. It is in very good condition with only a bit of roughness at the top of the handle keeping it from being excellent. It has the original clapper and wire!
