* Rear Pulley: 66 Tooth Good used Big Harley pulley; Machined for Sportster.
Black Pulley is not new. Light scuff marks in finish.

International Sportsters: If you are replacing a "Cush Drive" rear pulley you will need the axle spacer used on Sportster with direct drive rear pulleys.

Pulley Information:

Decrease High Speed Vibration
"Overdrive Gearing", for high speed cruise!
Does not require a belt change (except 2004-2006)
Can increase gas mileage!
Reduce 5th gear engine rpm approximately 250-350 at 70 mph; Why cruise at 3,700 rpm?
Reduce oil temperature! Higher cruise rpm gets the engine hotter!

Increase Gas Mileage on interstate: The best mileage is ~3000-3200 rpm.
Which pulley? Find your year and engine size. Choose a mph you want to cruise at, that is your pulley!
883, 1991-2003 & 1200, 1991-Up:

75- mph Cruise, ~3100 rpm: 32 Tooth Overdrive Transmission Pulley, ~18% change (1200)
70- mph Cruise, ~3100 rpm: 30 Tooth Overdrive Transmission Pulley, ~3% (1200) to 11% (883) change
65- mph Cruise, ~3000 rpm: 29 Tooth Overdrive Transmission Pulley ,~3% (883 only) change (same final gearing as a 1200)

883, 2004-Up:

75- mph Cruise, ~3300 rpm: 32 Tooth Front & 66 Tooth Rear Pulleys, ~17% change (same final gearing as a 1200 with a 30 tooth)
70- mph Cruise, ~3300 rpm: 32 Tooth Overdrive Transmission Pulley, ~14% change (same final gearing as a 1200)
65- mph Cruise, ~3200 rpm: 30 Tooth Overdrive Transmission Pulley, ~7.1% change
60- mph Cruise, ~3100 rpm: 29 Tooth Overdrive Transmission Pulley, ~3.5% change

Reduce Highway Engine RPM:

32 Tooth: Modifications are required to pulley cover and matching case standoffs. Visit website for photos and instructions, SportsterStuff.webs.com.

1991-2003, 32TS-1: Same as changing rear pulley to a 55 tooth. Sport models may require a 130 belt or shorter shocks.
2004-Up, 32TS-2: Gives 883's the same final ratio as 1200's, gives 1200's an "overdrive" 5th gear

30 Tooth: No modifications required, except XR's require modifying the inside of the pulley cover.

1991-2003, 30TS-1: This is one more tooth than a stock 1200
2004-Up, 30TS-2: Gives 883's more mph in every gear, still lower than 1200's; two more teeth than stock.
