An antique English, silver ring, with a molded Tassie type glass cameo depicting a classical maiden.
A highly collectable & very wearable Georgian period ring!
CONDITION: All original and very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. A few faint scratches to glass & dents to bezel - a microscopic nibble to the nose tip - see pictures.
DATE/MARKS: Around 1780/90. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS: Head 28 x 23 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
RING SIZE: Just under M or 6.25 US (can be resized within reason but would ruin the original patina).
WEIGHT: Approx. 7.7 grams.
