Elegant purple lamé dress and matching jacket. Has a 'Vogue' label; it's beautiful and possibly hand-made. It's a classic 1960's smart tailored look. Bought from a vintage clothes shop in Surrey to wear to 'Goodwood Revival' some years past. In some places the lamé has lost a little of its purpley-ness and gone a bit silvery metallic instead - I will show this in the pictures. It was like this when I bought it, it doesn't detract from the attractiveness of the piece at all, though. It's a stunning outfit.
Although the size is not labelled, I am a 6-8, so it would suit somebody of that dress size.
Here are the approximate measurements: dress; top to bottom (shoulder strap to hemline) = 34"/87cm
dress; from armpit to armpit (width across the chest) = 16"/41cm
dress; width of waist 12.5"/32cm (i.e.straight across at the smallest point of the dress with the dress lying flat - I think you will need to allow extra for ease of movement if measuring for yourself)
jacket; from shoulder to bottom of jacket:16"/40cm
jacket; length of arm, shoulder to bottom of cuff: 17"/43cm (sleeves are 3/4 length)
