This quality replica is modelled based on descriptions of the wreckage handled by Jesse Marcel Jr as a boy in 1947. He maintained his father bought a box of the wreckage home to show them after investigating the Roswell UFO crash site in 1947. One of the pieces resembled the I-Beam featured in this listing.
A variation of this wreckage was also seen in the alien autopsy video released by Ray Santilli in 1995. Although Santilli has since revealed the alien creature scenes to be a hoax, he maintains the sections of footage showing crash debris and a creature on a stretcher are real.

How To Get The Best Glow

To charge up the glow-in-the-dark sections, you should expose it to a strong light source for a few hours. UV light works best as it has a higher energy level and charges the phosphorescent materials in the filament more efficiently than normal light. If a UV light is not available, you can use daylight (but please do not place your model in direct sunlight) or a bright LED lamp. Position your replica so that the light hits it directly without obstruction. The length of exposure will depend on the strength of your light source, but typically a few hours of strong light will suffice for a noticeable glow.
