Something about the artist:

I haven't painted since high school. Artwork has always been a passion, but I haven't touched a paintbrush since my teen years in order to focus  on my career in computer engineering and other obligations. I won't say how many decades post high school, but let just say many, many years later, I decided to paint something cheerful that came to mind. "Red Poppy Field" is my first painting in years and definitely not my last one.  This painting was a joy to paint, and I hope the rich colors in this painting bring joy to someone else's life as well.
