The Tab Tool -Vinyl Fence Rail Removal Tool for pushing in the tab of vinyl fence rails.  This tool depresses the tabs in the rail to remove them from the fence post quickly and without fiddling with putty knives or shims.  Condition is New.

I had to remove some fencing and wanted to reuse the fencing without damage. Tried the putty knives and sheet metal shim insertion method as described on the internet.  It took too much time and did not work for me. This tool works quickly and easily. If you work on fencing or must remove some fencing at home, try this out. It is hand made of 1/4 steel bar and wood handle.  This Listing is for the TOOL is for 1.75-inch rails (measured across the top of the rail). See our other listing for the 1.5-inch rails and 2 inch rails.  The fork itself is about 6 inches so should work on rails up to 6 inches high.  Both are about 57 inches long. Includes instructions and a link to an online how-to video below.

The standard handle has 3/4-inch 5 thread per inch (Standard mop or painter pole thread in the US).  See picture with size of threads compared to a dime at the and a nickel between the threads. You can also buy one that fits your length needs at your local hardware store if you have 6-foot fence.  Sending a 6-foot pole doubles the cost of shipping.
