Description: An original, antique, copper-plate engraved, hand coloured map of the French administrative Departement of Maine-et-Loire in west-central France. It has significant detail of place names and topography and also identifies transport routes as well as areas of natural resources and industry. 

Cartographer / Engraver: engraved by Lorsignol, published by Le Vasseur.

Provenance: 'Grand Atlas Departementale de la France, De L'Algerie et des Colonies', by H. Fisquet, published by A. Le Vasseur, Librarie Abel Pilon & Cie, Paris, 1878

Condition: Excellent condition. Light age toning. Very faint offsetting from the adjacent page in the source publication. Small blue stain at the top border of the map (from the original colouring) Please study the photographs carefully to fully appreciate the condition.
