BIOGRAPHY:
Imre Gergely studied art at the Academy of Budapest and in Munich. After he finished his studies at the School of Decorative Art in Budapest he continued to study in Vienna, Florance and Munich. From 1891 he participated many times in shows at the Art Gallery in Budapest with his paintings of markets of Tunis. Several of his water-colours of historical subject are in the Hungrian National Gallery.
