Midcentury Fajans Sweden Celadon Green Botanical Fern Pottery 7” Vase ~ Flaw.

This 7” tall Fajans of Sweden art pottery vase features a botanical fern decoration on a celadon green background. The background is highlighted by faint white dots, lending a contemporary look to the vase. Fajans Pottery produced high quality art pottery until the mid 1960’s and I believe this example was a later, 1960’s design. It has a triangular shaped glaze flaw on the underside of rim. The base is 2.5” in diameter and is marked 3484/2 GVO in addition to the incised Fajans Pottery mark.

**There is a small flake chip on the underside of the base. This is not visible on display and does not detract from the vase’s display.
