Vintage Wooden Block Set in Wooden Case with Sliding Lid, 32+ pieces

We had a lot of fun with this set of blocks when I was little. I believe it was sent to us by relatives from France but I am not certain. It is in loved condition but the wooden lid slides easily and the set is only short a block or two from the original quantity. It may not have been new when we received it.
