10 New HL70-10 Hi-Lok Self Locking Aluminum Collars for 5/16” Pins with 24 threads per inch.
They are made of 2024-T6 Aluminum with a red anodized finish. These types of Collars are used extensively throughout the Aerospace and Aircraft Industry. They are self-locking using an elliptical internal thread shape. The wrenching element breaks away at the designed preload. Preload consistency among fasteners in a joint has been a long-standing need in the industry.
