This is a REPAIR SERVICE to rebuild THREE Bosch washer shock absorbers (dampers) with part number 00648176, also 648176.  The shock absorbers are made by SUSPA with part number 062-30027 marked on them. 

If your shock absorbers are not Bosch 00648176 or 648176 (with SUSPA part number 062-30027 marked on them) please do not buy this repair service.  We do not rebuild other shock absorbers.

These shock absorbers are no longer available, and the only option is to rebuild them.

The shock absorbers work by friction, and fail when the friction packing deteriorates.  The usual symptom is that due to the lack of damping, the washer can't balance the load after multiple attempts, so it will not spin.  It then gives an error code related to spinning or draining, but the real problem is that the shock absorbers have failed.

Bosch washers have three of these shock absorbers, two below the front sides of the drum, and one below the rear center of the drum.  You must rebuild all of them, because if you don't, the rebuilt ones get overstressed doing more than their share of the work, and they will fail prematurely.

 We have been selling a repair kit since 2020, and have had requests for a repair service for those who would prefer to have us do the rebuild of their shock absorbers.

Once you have bought the repair service, we will contact you with the address to send the shock absorbers.  You will then ship your shock absorbers to us.

The cost of shipping the shock absorbers to us is not included in the repair service, you will need to pay this.

For the lowest cost expedited service, we suggest you wrap them in bubble wrap or similar, and put them in a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope.  Please share the tracking number with us so that we can track them.

When we receive the shock absorbers, we will rebuild them and ship them back to you the next day by USPS Priority Mail.  The cost of shipping the shock absorbers back to you is included in this repair service.
