15" Stretch Back Half Frame Kit for Jeep YJ

Want to stretch your Jeep YJ to be the same length as a Jeep LJ? Where do I start? You start with a great foundation - The Frame.

This American made kit narrows the width of the factory YJ frame by 8-1/16” and extends the length of the frame rearward by 15”. This provides ample room to install coil-over shocks that are positioned outboard of the frame and provides you space to build your much longer custom 4 link rear suspension system to help keep the tires in contact with ground while increasing your wheel articulation. The new longer wheelbase of your vehicle will greatly increase the stability & off-road capabilities of your YJ for hard-core rock crawling.

This is a builder kit. Professional fabrication and/or welding is recommended. This kit includes four (4) sections of new frame rails constructed using 3/16” high-grade steel that is precision CNC laser cut & expertly formed on our CNC press brake, then professionally welded, sanded, and inspected at our state-of-the-art fabrication facility. Also included is a new fully welded heavy-duty rear bumper with integrated ¾” thick recovery mounts built in. There are also two side plates included that reinforce the join between the rear bumper & the frame rails for added strength. The new frame rails include two (2) relocated body mount holes.

Our step-by-step assembly instructions facilitate the entire process. We show you where & how to cut your existing frame, where to make cutouts in the body for the new frame to pass through, measurements on how to square up the frame & then where to place all of your finish welds.

The YJ body will also get cut & moved rearward by 15”. This kit does NOT cover this process.

All parts ship as raw steel. Welding is required. You will not be able to return your vehicle back to factory after this modification.
