This is a beautiful, antique decorative ginger jar with a stunning raised pattern of Peonies on a cobalt blue background. The jar was hand painted and glossy porcelain with no chips or cracks with some age-related crazing on the inside.

It was produced in Newcastle-on-Tyne, England in 1924 and is an original, early 20th century piece of studio crafted art. It measures 5-1/2 in diameter and 8" in height.
