Programming Instructions: Note: You can program up to 4 remotes to the system at one time. All existing remotes must be present and programmed at the same time. 1. Locate valet switch. 2. Insert key into ignition and turn to “on” position- (do not start the vehicle)- and then back “off”. 3. Repeat again- “ON”, “OFF”, “ON”- ending in the “ON” position. –The vehicle lights should flash at this point, indicating the vehicle has successfully entered programming mode. 4. Hold down Valet switch for 5 seconds. – Vehicle lights will flash again. 5. Within 15 seconds, hold down “lock” button on first remote- vehicle will confirm with a chirp or lights flashing when remote has been accepted. 6. Repeat step 5 with any remaining remotes. 7. To exit programming turn the key to “off” position. METHOD #2: Programming Instructions: This system uses Code Learning to learn up to 3 different transmitter codes. TO PROGRAM TRANSMITTERS TO ALARM: 1) Turn ignition switch ON then OFF 3 times quickly (on/off, on/off, on/off) until siren chirps once. 2) Leave ignition ON. 3) Push & Hold the Valet switch. The siren chirps 3 times. The system is now in programming mode. 4) Press BUTTON #1 on the transmitter- siren chirps once to confirm programming. Press BUTTON #1 on another transmitter within 5 seconds to program a second remote control. NOTE #1 If only one transmitter is being programmed, continue holding BUTTON #1 until Siren chirps a second time. This means the system has exited program mode. Hold the transmitter button until the siren chirps the 2nd time to prevent unauthorized code and noise from entering system. NOTE #2 Program Mode is exited automatically after 5 seconds of last code transmission or once 3 new codes have been programmed. System will disarm after programming. Disarm using any valid transmitter. 5) Turn Ignition to OFF. NOTE: When programming ALL remotes must be relearned! |

Does this keyless remote entry come with a battery?
Yes. It will have a working battery installed.
Battery Condition:
A. All remotes sold on Keyless4u include working batteries.
B. Installed batteries are not tested for battery life- they are simply working.
Some are new and some are used.
Your vehicle will be installed with one of the following keyless entry systems:
a. Standard Keyless Remote Packages: Installed at time of manufacture.
b. Optional Keyless Remote Packages: Installed by a dealer.
c. Aftermarket Keyless Remote Packages: Installed by previous owner or a car/audio shop.
d. No remote keyless entry system at all.
