Fair condition overall; hinges cracked and with some visible separation; all holding together.   Covers and spine show some wear; ink signature of original owner; pages have some minor staining intermittently. Spine very faded and with tears at edges.  Spine also a little cocked, leaning a bit to the right.    No unpleasant odors.     Frederick Henry Townsend frontispiece illustration.
