Offered here is a lot of two (2) original ink-drawn cartoons by a pair of prominent American cartoonists of the 1940s and after.

----Peter Wells (1912-1995)---Illustrator, cartoonist and author of children's books.  I do not know which publication this piece was prepared for or if ever published.  Under the tape on the front below the image, there appears to be a caption, but I did not want to remove the tape and thus was unable to read it.

----Don Cresci---Pennsylvania cartoonist.  Stamped on the reverse with the cartoonist's address.

The Cresci drawing is on light paper and is not laid down.  The measurements are 11 inches in height by 8 1/2 inches in width.

The Wells drawing is on Yorkville Drawing Board.  The measurements are: height 5 inches (image), 10 inches (board); width 8 5/8 (image), 13 1/2 inches (board).

These drawings are from my personal collection which I am beginning to sell off.  Please read the condition description carefully and review the photographs.  Unless noted otherwise in the description, the prints, art and other items that I sell are not "reproductions".  For example, offered maps are of the period.  I do my best to accurately describe the items being sold, but if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.  Please check my other listings for additional items of interest.  I will combine shipping.
