Sebastian Munster (1488-1552) was a German cartographer.  His most famous work, Cosmographia, first published in German in 1544 apparently rekindled interest in geography in Europe during the 16th century and was thereafter published in other languages including Latin, French, Italian and English.

The page offered here is 325-6 from Liber III (De Germania) of the Latin edition of Cosmographia and has a couple of nice small wood engravings.  One looks like an image of Henry VIII (or at least the Hans Holbein version of that king) and the other looks like a village of the time.

This page is from my personal collection which I am beginning to sell off.  Unless noted otherwise in the description, the prints, art and other items that I sell are not "reproductions".  For example, offered maps are of the period.  Please check my other listings for additional items of interest.  I will combine shipping.
