This is a vintage AMERICANA FOLK ART bank made from a dried gourd. It is decorated with a hand painted spread-wing eagle over a 13 star American flag draped over a staff. See all photos. The pear-shaped gourd is cut out on the back top for excepting Coin. The bottom has a cut out center piece which is signed Sun to Earth and dated 1992. It is in overall excellent, used condition, no cracks. It is approximately 9 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches in diameter. It weighs approximately 5.3 ounces. Hand made, hand painted in 1992.
