About Ski Trucks
Ski Trucks is an independent, family-owned Ski, Snowboard, and Outdoor Adventure Shop based in Salt Lake City, Utah. With over 55 years of outfitting experience, our mission is simple: we specialize in quality new and used gear, custom packages, and expert recommendations designed to get you on the mountain with confidence and great value. We want to help everyone get out and enjoy the outdoors, regardless of experience or budget.

How We Work
Whether you're purchasing a single item or a complete ski or snowboard package, here's our general process:

1. Order Placement
   Select your gear and complete your purchase, or submit a Gear Fitting Form.

2. Setup & Fit Information
   If your order requires adjustments (bindings, boots, or package outfitting), please send in required and accurate information at the time of purchase, if you have submitted a Gear Fitting Form no additional information needed .
   Accurate information is important. Our experienced technicians use this information to ensure your gear is properly matched, safe, and ready to use. 

3. Snowboards with Bindings
   Please provide:

• Riding stance (Regular or Goofy)

• Stance width (if preference known)

• Degree angle of front and back bindings (if preference known)

• Boot size

4. Skis with Bindings
   We can set up your ski bindings so they arrive ready to ski. To ensure proper setup, please provide:

• Skier's Ability Level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)

• Skier's Style / Speed (Laid back, Ambitious, Aggressive)

• Weight (for proper binding release settings)

• Boot Shell Length (BSL) — This is different from boot size and is typically stamped in millimeters on the side, bottom, or back of your boot.

5. Custom Package Selections, Review & Choices
   For custom package orders submit a Gear Fitting Form and our technicians pull two of the best recommended options available within your budget from our 25,000 sq. ft. warehouse, then send photos and descriptions so you can pick what works best for you. If you'd like more choices, we're happy to pull additional options.

6. Professional Setup
   When purchasing skis or snowboards with boots, we set up bindings so your gear arrives ready to use.
   If ordering skis or snowboards only, adjustments can still be made once setup information is provided.

7. Inspection & Shipping
   All orders are inspected for quality and accuracy prior to shipping.
   We offer:

• Multi-item combined packaging to help save on shipping

• Rate shopping for the best available shipping price

• Domestic shipping

• International shipping

• Freight shipping for larger orders

8. Ongoing Support
   Questions before or after delivery? Our team is here to help with adjustments, advice, or exchanges.

Gear Grading & Condition Standards

• New: Never used. May be in or out of original packaging and could show light cosmetic wear from handling or storage.

• Demo / Excellent: Minimally used with 90%+ life remaining. Minor cosmetic wear possible; fully functional.

• Good: Used gear with approximately 40%–90% life remaining. May show minor to moderate cosmetic wear; structurally sound and fully functional.

• Fair: Heavier wear with up to approximately 50% life remaining. Noticeable cosmetic wear and possible basic structural wear, but nothing that affects safe performance.

Shipping & Handling
Single-item orders typically ship within 1–3 business days.
Custom-built packages typically require 5–7 business days for setup and preparation before shipping.
Tracking is provided on all shipments. Combined shipping available when possible.

All gear — new or used — is inspected and honestly represented. Setup services such as binding adjustments or stance setup are completed using customer‑provided information. Accurate information is important, and final inspection and proper use of equipment remains the responsibility of the user.

By purchasing from Ski Trucks, you agree that Ski Trucks, its owners, and employees are not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from the use, misuse, or improper adjustment of equipment, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

If purchasing for another individual, you agree that these terms apply to the end user and that you will communicate proper use and setup information.
