This is a lovely, strong, Ari Norman design sterling silver thimble.

It is beautifully made with a highly polished light reflecting upper part with a very decorative raised interlinked design round the border.

It is marked to the side with a lion passant - denoting sterling silver, the sought after leopard London mark, the date letter for 1981 and the makers’s mark AN in a shield.

A collectable, hallmarked Sterling silver thimble in great vintage condition, by noted designer Ari D Norman.

Ari D Norman’s, company was founded in 1974. In 1989 Ari D. Norman was the very first company of British silversmiths to receive the supreme accolade of The Queen's Award for export achievement.

The thimble measures approx 2.4 cm high x just over 1.7 cm rim diameter.

It is in very good vintage condition with no holes or dents and the rim is round.
