This commemorative F-22 Raptor Stealth Fighter Air Force coin celebrated two significant achievements. One was the 100th delivery of the F22 production aircraft. The second was when the Team of Contractors including Pratt & Whitney, Lockheed Martin, and Boeing won the prestigious Collier Trophy award in 2006.

The Robert J. Collier Trophy is awarded annually “for the greatest achievement in aeronautics or astronautics in America, with respect to improving the performance, efficiency, and safety of air or space vehicles, the value of which has been thoroughly demonstrated by actual use during the preceding year.”
