CHRISTIAN FREDERIK EMIL ECKARDT (Danish, 1832-1914) - 'Gabriela' - PIRKENHAMMER PORCELAIN FACTORY (Fischer & Meig) - Extraordinary and rare antique porcelain cabinet plate by one of Denmark's most gifted late 19th century artists - featuring a fine hand painted portrait of a young girl in Capri or Rome (after a similar painting by Adriano Bonifazi, late 19th century) - suitable for framing or cabinet display - signed lower right E. Eckardt Dresden - titled on the back - no impressed mark on this plate but identical to the other plate on offer - Europe - circa 1900.

Excellent antique condition - no loss - no damage - no restoration - minor signs of age and use.
