- By keeping fuel bowls cool you get a noticeable increase in fuel density, resulting in a better charge available for combustion
- Good for street cars because they eliminate heat soak and vapor lock problems associated with high under hood temperatures
- Today's fuels have significantly lower boiling points compounding heat soak problems especially with aluminum manifolds
- Gasket measures 4-9/16" wide at the small primary openings - check your intake manifold to confirm this will completely cover the carburetor flange
- Quadrajet bolt pattern is 4.25" wide by 5.625" long
- Front / primary bores in gasket are approximately 1.4"
- Rear / secondary bores in gasket are approximately 2.3"
