This listing is a vintage, new/old stock metal beret badge formerly worn by the Combat Control Team personnel of the US Air Force. CCTs or Special Tactics Operators are highly trained specialists in all aspects of air-ground communications, as well as  a multitude of other special operations skills. This badge design, in oxidized metal, was worn primarily in the 1980s and early 1990s, and later changed to the polished chrome or staybrite version of the badge. These badges are die struck, and feature two clutch post fasteners on the reverse side. They come affixed to original cardstock, and were wrapped in paper as they came straight from the factory.

These badges and patches, and others, came from the supply room of a sew shop that had been in business in the Fort Lewis area since the Second World War era. That business recently closed down permanently and our shop bought a substantial amount of its vintage stock, including insignia for several older units that were also disbanded.

If you are buying more than one patch from us, PLEASE use the shopping cart feature. We do combine postage, so your shipping costs will not increase by much if you buy more than one patch.
